HIFK’s former star forward found a new club
Swedish forward Sebastian Dyk, 33, known from HIFK, has found a new team. He will move to the Norwegian top league Frisk Asker for the upcoming season.
Dyk has played the last three seasons in Allsvenskan with Södertälje SK. Last season, he was the team’s top scorer, finishing with 16+19=35 points in 51 regular season games. In the playoffs, he scored 5+7=12 points in 14 games.
Dyk represented HIFK in the Liiga for four seasons from 2019 to 2023. He recorded a total of 48+62=110 points in 189 regular season games and 6+8=14 points in 18 playoff games. In his best season, Dyk registered 45 points.
– Sebastian is a player we have been discussing for a while. He has played strongly at a high level and brings us offensive power, experience, and a very good shot. We have also received very good feedback about him both as a person and as a teammate. We believe he fits well into our group and the style of play we want, commented Frisk Asker’s sports director Vidar Wold in the club’s announcement.
Aside from his seasons in the Liiga, Dyk has spent the rest of his career in Sweden, mostly in Allsvenskan.
