There it is – HIFK’s new jersey brings the classic back

HIFK is bringing back one of the most famous jerseys in its history for the 2026–2027 season. The club announced on Tuesday that the Peto logo, seen from 1996 to 2008, will return on the team’s third jersey.
HIFK’s traditional red and white shield jersey will continue to be used for home and away games. The Peto jersey, on the other hand, will be worn during home games played on Saturdays at the Helsinki Ice Hall.
– You have been heard! The Peto jersey is making a comeback, HIFK excitedly announced in its press release.
In the upcoming regular season, HIFK will play six home games on Saturdays, where the legendary Peto jersey will be seen in use by the team.
