HIFK is left behind – Kasper Lundell’s new team is now known

The career of Kasper Lundell, who left HIFK, continues in North America.
The AHL team Charlotte Checkers announced on Wednesday that they have signed a one-year two-way contract with the 22-year-old Finnish forward.
Last season, Lundell played 38 regular season games in the Liiga for HIFK, accumulating 3+4=7 points.
During his time at HIFK, Lundell spent a total of three seasons. During that time, he played 101 regular season games in the Liiga, scoring 16 goals and providing 10 assists. In total, the forward recorded 26 points.
Lundell also has a direct connection to his new team. He is the younger brother of Anton Lundell, who represents the Florida Panthers in the NHL, and the Charlotte Checkers serve as the AHL affiliate for the Panthers.
The Checkers have signed forward Kasper Lundell to a one-year, two-way AHL contract.
