Rasmus Kupari, 26, has found a job for the coming years. He has signed a two-season extension with the Swiss club Lugano.

This season was really challenging for Kupari. He was injured for most of the season and ultimately played only seven games in the regular season, with stats of 1+1. In the playoffs, he recorded 1+2 in four games.

– Rasmus has had a really tough season behind him. His injury lasted longer than we hoped, even though he did everything to return to action as quickly as possible. When he returned to the ice, he showed his speed and skills and was one of our best forwards in the playoffs. I have a lot of faith in him and I believe that in the coming seasons we will see the best version of him, commented Lugano’s GM Janick Steinnman.

In his career, Kupari has played 217 games in the NHL. In those, the Finnish forward collected 38 points.
