Markus Oden: transfer to North America

Forward Markus Oden, 25, is moving to North America. ECHL team Greensboro Gargoyles announces that they have signed a one-year contract with Oden.
Oden started last season in the Danish top league with Odense Bulldogs, where he played 23 games with a scoring record of 8+9=17. Oden moved to Finland in February and played ten regular-season games with Mestis team IPK, scoring 3+3, as well as 12 playoff games with 4+2.
Oden has played a total of 103 regular-season games (21+18=39) and seven playoff games in the Liiga with Jukurit and TPS. Additionally, he has experience from Allsvenskan with Västerås. Oden’s trophy cabinet includes a Danish championship with Odense from the spring of 2025.
