Big news from Switzerland – Finnish power defender has been chosen as captain!

The Swiss NL team HC Ajoie has announced its captaincy for the upcoming season. The new captain of the team is Finnish defender Anttoni Honka.
Honka, 25, has not served as a captain in his previous career. He has represented the Ajoie team for two seasons. In last season’s 51 games, Honka scored 9+27=36 points.
Honka, who also appeared with the Lions last season, has previously played one season in the AHL and several years in the Liiga with JYP.
The alternate captains of Ajoie are Jeremy Wick and Jeremi Gerber. Additionally, the captain group includes Jesse Zgraggen, Phil Devos, and Finnish forward Kristian Tanus, who will start his first season with the team after playing the last few years with Tappara.
