Matt Dumba ends his NHL career at the age of 32. The defenseman announced his decision on Friday.

Dumba played 748 regular season games in the NHL and recorded 85+176=261 points. Most of his career was spent with the Minnesota Wild, where he played from 2013 to 2023. In his last two seasons with Minnesota, he served as an alternate captain.

The Wild drafted Dumba seventh overall in the summer of 2012. His most productive season came in 2017-2018, when he scored 50 points.

After Minnesota, Dumba represented Arizona, Tampa Bay, Dallas, and Pittsburgh. In his final season, he played 11 NHL games with the Penguins and 27 AHL games with the farm team.

Dumba accumulated 54 playoff games and recorded 5+10=15 points.
