Olli Jokinen is making significant changes to HIFK’s forward lines for Saturday’s match against KalPa. The Helsinki team, which lost 2–3 in overtime to Jokerit, will have a new first and second line.

The new first line consists of Daniel Mäkiaho, Iiro Pakarinen, and Niko Huuhtanen. The revamped second line will feature Eetu Liukas, Jake Leschyshyn, and Vincent Marleau.

There will also be a new name in the lineup as Lauri Sinivuori steps in as the center for the fourth line.

HIFK’s start to the season has been dreadful: the team is currently third from the bottom in the standings, having collected only ten points in ten games. Fans have called for Jokinen’s dismissal, but HIFK’s management has expressed their confidence in the head coach.

KalPa, on the other hand, will be playing their second consecutive game without their star forward Jaakko Rissanen. The Kuopio team will continue with the same lineup as on Friday.

KalPa’s first line features Aleksi Klemetti, Elias Vilen, and Juuso Mäenpää. In goal, Stefanos Lekkas will continue.
