The Finnish men’s national team under 20 defeated Germany in a friendly match in Duluth, United States, during the night between Friday and Saturday Finnish time.

The Young Lions’ victory was recorded with a score of 7–3. All of Finland’s goals were scored by different players: Oliver Suvanto, Joona Saarelainen, Heikki Ruohonen, Lasse Boelius, Matias Vanhanen, Jasper Kuhta, and Max Westergård were responsible for the goals.

In goal for Finland was Kim Saarinen.

Next, Finland will face the United States in a friendly match. This match will start on Christmas Eve at 2 AM Finnish time.

The under 20 World Championship tournament will kick off on St. Stephen’s Day. Finland’s tournament will begin at 10:30 PM against Denmark.

In Finland’s group, along with Denmark, are Latvia, the Czech Republic, and Canada.
