Now it’s official – Evgeny Kuznetsov making a comeback to the NHL!

Evgeny Kuznetsov is preparing for a surprise return to the NHL. The 33-year-old Russian forward played last season in the KHL for SKA St. Petersburg.
Kuznetsov’s player agent Shumi Babayev revealed to RG website that Kuznetsov plans to play next season in North America. According to Babayev, they have been in talks with a few NHL teams.
Before his return to the KHL, Kuznetsov played 743 games in the NHL over 11 seasons, tallying 173 goals and 402 assists for 575 points. The skilled forward has represented the Washington Capitals and briefly the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL.
In the KHL, Kuznetsov recorded 12 goals and 25 assists for 37 points in 39 games last season.
