Dallas Stars’ star defenseman Miro Heiskanen is on a hot streak in the NHL.
Heiskanen provided two assists in last night’s NHL round as the Stars defeated the Seattle Kraken at home with a score of 2-1.
Heiskanen has risen to second place in the defensemen’s scoring race. The Finnish star has recorded 14 points (3 goals and 11 assists) in 16 games this season. The clear leader in the defensemen’s scoring race is Colorado Avalanche’s Cale Makar with 20 points.
Heiskanen has now recorded an impressive 0+8 in the last three games. This is only the second time in Stars’ franchise history that a defenseman has achieved eight points in three games. The previous similar feat was accomplished by defenseman legend Sergei Zubov in 2007.
