The group stage of the Olympics has been completed and the next step is the knockout rounds.
After the group stages, looking at the statistics, the Lions’ defender Rasmus Ristolainen has started his tournament strongly. His plus/minus rating shows +8, placing him at the top of the tournament’s statistics alongside Devon Toews.
Ristolainen’s defensive partner Niko Mikkola also has a strong plus/minus rating of +7. Cale Makar and Connor McDavid are also at the same rating.
Neither Ristolainen nor Mikkola have any minus ratings so far, meaning they have not been on the ice when the opponent has scored a goal.
The Lions continue their tournament with a quarter-final match against the winner of the Switzerland-Italy game.
