According to Urheilucast host Esko Seppänen, both Tampere teams are in the bidding for JYP’s star forward Leevi Tukiainen.
The 26-year-old, a product of Pelicans, has emerged as one of the league’s most dangerous goal scorers in recent years. Last season, Tukiainen scored an impressive 29 goals and collected 44 points in just 40 games while playing for JYP.
His scoring pace has continued to be impressive at the start of the season. Tukiainen has netted nine goals and provided one assist in 16 Liiga games.
