Urheilucast: Big money was put on the table for Jori Lehtera – two clubs involved!
Jori Lehterä‘s future has new information. The experienced Finnish forward has not yet made a decision about continuing his career, but there is interest from several clubs.
Urheilucast previously reported that Lehterä’s decision can be expected no earlier than after Christmas. Now the podcast’s Esko Seppänen revealed new information about the forward’s situation.
According to Seppänen, Lehterä has two lucrative contract offers on the table. The offers have come from Switzerland and Germany.
Seppänen does not believe that Lehterä is about to end his playing career.
– I give a zero percent chance for retirement, Seppänen states.
One possible destination could also be Helsinki’s Jokerit. Seppänen mentions the Helsinki club as an option, but a potential transfer would require the Jokers to make player trades.
According to Seppänen, the Jokers would need to trade one of their top players, such as Maxime Fortier, to make room for Lehterä.
