The Winnipeg Jets have placed Finnish forward Brad Lambert on the NHL waiver list. This was reported by journalist Darren Dreger on X.
With this decision, Winnipeg aims to make room on their roster for a potential player call-up from the farm team Manitoba Moose.
Lambert, 22, is now available for other NHL teams to claim. If no team picks up the Finnish player within 24 hours, the Jets can send him to the AHL.
This season, Lambert has appeared in 11 NHL games and recorded one assist. Winnipeg drafted him in the first round, 30th overall, in the 2022 NHL Draft.
In total, Lambert has played 42 NHL games for the Jets, with a scoring record of 3+6.
