This is what the Little Lions team looks like at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup tournament!
The Finnish under-18 boys’ national team, the Little Lions, will open their season at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup tournament held in Edmonton, Canada, from August 3 to 8.
The Little Lions will play in Group B, facing Germany, the Czech Republic, and the United States. Group A will feature Canada, Sweden, Slovakia, and Switzerland. The group stage matches will take place during the upcoming week between Monday and Wednesday.
On Friday, the semi-finals and the matches for the 5th-6th places among the group third-placed teams will take place. On Saturday, the tournament final, the bronze match, and the battle for the 7th-8th places among the group fourth-placed teams will be played.
