Ilves is facing a significant loss. The top center Lukas Jasek was injured on Wednesday against Sport, and Urheilucast Esko Seppänen reports that the forward’s situation raises serious concerns.

Jasek’s injury appeared to be harmless, but he had to be assisted to the locker room, and he was unable to put weight on his leg.

According to Seppänen, Ilves has already begun to assess the center forward market.

– There is currently serious concern surrounding top center Lukas Jasek’s situation with his other lower limb. I asked about it from the Tampere side, and I received a response that it is actually still being examined. At the same time, Ilves has already Urheilucast reported that they are assessing the situation in the center forward market, Seppänen says in the broadcast.

Jasek’s potential longer absence would be a heavy blow for Ilves. The team’s second-best scorer has accumulated 8 points (4+4) in nine games. Last season, he scored 50 points in 56 games.

The exact nature of the injury and the potential duration of the absence are not yet known.
