American goalkeeper Collin Delia, 31, will not continue with Brynäs IF. The SHL club announces on its website that the contract between the parties has been terminated.

Delia joined Brynäs on a one-year contract for this season. However, his role in the club was very limited, as he only played six SHL games with a save percentage of 79.1. Additionally, he played seven games in the CHL with a save percentage of 91.4.

– Collin has had limited responsibility for a long time, and he has expressed his desire to move on. Despite the limited playing time, he has always behaved professionally and shown great loyalty to both the club and his teammates. We wish him luck in the future, says sports director Johan Alcén.

Throughout his career, Delia has played in North America. He has played 52 NHL games representing the Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks. Last season, he played for the Bakersfield Condors in the AHL, appearing in 28 games with a save percentage of 90.6.
