Surprising contract news about Mikko Rantanen – “I am proud”
Mikko Rantanen has signed a partnership agreement with Veikkaus. The Dallas Stars forward will start as the company’s new brand ambassador, Veikkaus announces.
Rantanen will be seen in Veikkaus’ marketing, hockey-related content, and selected events. The collaboration will also be visible in customer benefits. According to Veikkaus’ sponsorship manager Tuomo Torkkola, Rantanen will participate in creating NHL content.
– The collaboration with Mikko is not just about promotional images in advertisements. We want to highlight and showcase the long-term work, fair play, and responsibility behind sports success. These are the principles that guide everything we do at Veikkaus. It’s great to have Mikko on board to help build NHL content, Torkkola says.
For Rantanen, Finnish hockey is one reason to get involved.
– It’s great to collaborate with Veikkaus. Veikkaus is strongly present in Finnish hockey, which is important to me. I am proud to be part of advancing Finnish hockey culture while also emphasizing responsibility and fair play, which are values I strongly believe in, Rantanen says.
Veikkaus will also continue as an NHL partner under a separate agreement. The company is set to show the start of the NHL season games on VeikkausTV.
