Source: Patrik Puistola made his choice – transfer to a top club!
Finnish forward Patrik Puistola, 25, representing SHL team Örebro HK, is changing teams in Sweden after this season.
According to sources from Expressen, Puistola has verbally agreed to transfer to SHL’s top team Frölunda HC for next season.
Expressen reported earlier in January that several top teams were interested in Puistola. Örebro also wanted to keep Puistola.
Puistola is currently in his second season with Örebro. He has scored 28 points in 38 games this season with a record of 12+16. Puistola has represented the Lions in the last two spring World Championships and has participated in both EHT tournaments this season.
Currently, Jere Innala and Arttu Ruotsalainen are the Finnish players representing Frölunda, but both are set to leave the team after the season. Innala is moving to HC Lugano and Ruotsalainen to EHC Kloten.
