Russian ice hockey player Artjom Fjodorov has died at the age of 32. The news of his death has been reported by the Russian Championat website and his former club HK Sotshi.

The cause of death has not yet been made public.

HK Sotshi remembered their former player in a touching statement.

– Artjom was a brilliant and genuine player as well as a friendly and kind person. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends, the club wrote.

Fjodorov, who played as a winger, had a long career in the KHL league. He played a total of 376 games in the league and collected 169 points (66+103).

During his career, he represented several Russian clubs, including HK Sotshi, SKA St. Petersburg, Salavat Yulaev Ufa, and Spartak Moscow. He ended his playing career at the conclusion of the 2022–23 season.

Fjodorov was also seen in the Russian national team, where he played three games.
