American forward Luke Kunin, 28, who represented the Florida Panthers last season, is moving to the KHL for the next season. Sports.ru reports that CSKA Moscow is interested in Kunin.
Kunin represented Florida for one season. He scored 10 points in 62 games with the team, with a tally of 4+6. Kunin also played one AHL game last season.
Originally, Kunin was the 15th overall pick of the Minnesota Wild in the first round of the 2016 draft. He has played a total of 496 regular season games (77+75=152) and 14 playoff games (4+1) in his NHL career, representing Minnesota and Florida as well as the Nashville Predators, San Jose Sharks, and Columbus Blue Jackets.
In his best NHL season, Kunin recorded 31 points.
