Raju counterattack! Two superstars from Canada sidelined from practice
MILANO.
Strange news is coming from the Canadian team ahead of the Olympic quarterfinal match.
Canada will play against the Czech Republic on Wednesday and held their final practice on Tuesday. The good news is that defenseman Josh Morrissey and forward Brad Marchand, who were suffering from minor injuries, returned to the ice.
On the other hand, a severe setback is that Nathan MacKinnon and Sam Bennett were unable to practice. MacKinnon took a hard hit from Pierre Crinon in Canada’s last match against France.
Since then, Canada’s Tom Wilson challenged Crinon to a fight. Crinon won the fight and celebrated in front of the crowd, which caused the French ice hockey federation to get upset and suspend Crinon for the remainder of the tournament.
