League star injured in the Olympics – season over!

There has been unfortunate news regarding Sport’s star forward Charles Bertrand, who represented France in the Milano-Cortina Olympic tournament.
The Vaasa club announced on Sunday via social media that the 35-year-old forward, injured in the tournament, has undergone surgery, and the recovery will take several months. This also means the end of the season for the forward.
Bertrand, who represented Sport for the first time this season, played 36 regular-season games in the current Liiga season, with stats of 13+6=19. In the Olympic tournament, the winger recorded two assists in four games.
Throughout his career, Bertrand has won two Finnish championships, which came while playing for Kärpät and Tappara.
