Raju disappointment! The check-in superstars didn’t say many words
MILANO.
The men’s ice hockey tournament at the Olympics has provided a few surprises.
On Saturday, it was confirmed that Sweden is only third in its group. Now the same happened to the Czech Republic in Group A. Canada wins the group and Switzerland is second. Switzerland defeated the Czech Republic in a fierce battle in overtime with a score of 4-3.
After the match, the Czech superstars were very reticent. The loss clearly hit hard.
– A disappointing loss. We have to move on. I think we played quite well. We should have capitalized on the power plays more effectively, said David Pastrnak and quickly left for the locker room.
Martin Necas said a couple more sentences, but it was tough for him.
– We wanted to win, it doesn’t matter if it comes in regular time, overtime, or shootouts, Colorado Avalanche superstar Necas said.
– We took a couple of stupid penalties. It went how it went.
Necas was asked what it’s like to play when the goal difference has such a big impact.
– Everyone knows the rules. It’s hard to talk after the game.
