The Finnish under-18 ice hockey national team is in serious trouble at the World Championships being held in Slovakia.
Canada has taken full control in the final group stage match and has already taken a 4–0 lead in the first period. Beckett Hamilton scored two goals, and Adam Valentini and Mathis Preston also found the net.
Finland could not get their game going, and the reigning world champion Canada clearly dominated the events in the first period.
Both teams were unbeaten in the tournament.
The Little Lions had started the tournament strongly by defeating Norway, Latvia, and Slovakia, but now the final opponent is of a completely different caliber.
