NHL goalie unexpectedly ends his hockey career – moves to a new field

Connor Ingram, who represented the Edmonton Oilers last season, has hung up his skates at just 29 years old. He announced his decision on his Instagram account.
Ingram’s future plans are already clear. He intends to return to school to study psychology.
The retirement decision was a surprise. Ingram had a quite good season in goal for the Oilers. His save percentage in 32 games was 89.9.
In his career, Ingram played 134 NHL games. Over the years, he represented the Nashville Predators, Arizona Coyotes, Utah Hockey Club, and Edmonton Oilers.
