Niclas Westerholm has found a new club!

Finnish goalie Niclas Westerholm, 28, has found a new team.
HC Motor Ceske Budejovice, playing in the Czech top league, has signed a one-month contract with Westerholm. The team needed a new goalkeeper as both of its goalies Milan Kloucek and Jan Strmen are injured.
Westerholm previously played in the Czech Republic for BK Mlada Boleslav earlier this season, joining them in September on a one-month contract. He played three games for the team with a save percentage of 89.0. His contract was not extended after the month.
In the league, Westerholm has played 240 regular season games and six playoff games representing SaiPa and Kärpät. He has also played two games for the national team, the Lions, in the EHT.
