Czech forward Filip Zadina, 25, moved from the NHL to Switzerland’s NL team HC Davos last season on a two-year contract. Zadina’s contract has already been extended after the first year, as Davos now announces that it has made a two-year extension with the forward. Thus, Davos has secured Zadina until 2028.
Zadina played 43 regular season games in Davos last season, tallying 21+13=34 points. In the playoffs, he recorded 6+3=9 points in ten games.
Zadina is the sixth overall pick of the Detroit Red Wings from the 2018 draft. He has played a total of 262 NHL games, scoring 41+50=91 points, representing both the Red Wings and the San Jose Sharks.
