Forward Markus Granlund, 32, will continue his career in Switzerland for the upcoming seasons.

Genève-Servette HC has signed a two-year extension with Granlund, which is valid until spring 2028.

Granlund is playing his second season with Servette. He has recorded strong stats this season with 12+12=24 points in 21 games. Last season, Granlund also played at a high level, finishing with 21+26=47 points in 39 games.

Granlund, who is playing his fourth season in Switzerland, represented HC Lugano for two seasons before moving to Servette. He has played in Switzerland at over a point-per-game pace, with 127 games yielding 132 points.

In his career, Granlund has also played in the NHL, AHL, and KHL. He was part of the Olympic gold-winning team, the Lions, in 2022. In Finland, Granlund last played for HIFK in the 2012-13 season.
