In recent weeks, excellent news has emerged about the Finnish star of the Dallas Stars, Mikko Rantanen, who has been sidelined due to injury.

Rantanen has returned to team practices for the first time since his injury. He participated in the Stars’ voluntary practices on Tuesday.

Rantanen suffered a lower body injury during the Olympics, which has kept him out for several weeks. According to Stars head coach Glen Gulutzan, Rantanen will be out of games for about another couple of weeks.

Rantanen has played 54 games this season, with a total of 20+49=69 points.
