Forward Markus Oden, 24, who has played over 100 games in the league, returns to Finland from the Danish league.

However, Oden’s new team is not in the league, but in the Mestis. The forward has signed a contract with IPK that runs for the remainder of the season.

Oden terminated his contract with the Odense Bulldogs, who play in the Danish league, at the end of January. The 177-centimeter forward played 23 games in the first half of the season with stats of 8+9=17.

– Markus brings skating power and scoring potential to our team. A much-needed addition to our roster at the moment, the club’s development manager Niko Härkönen says.

Oden was part of the team that won the Danish championship last season. Before moving to Denmark, he represented TPS and Joensuun Kiekko-Pojat.
