Leevi Selänne signed a Mestis contract: here is the new team

Leevi Selänne, who played last season in the fourth highest league in Sweden with Ockelbo HC, is returning to Finland and Mestis.
Teemu Selänne’s son will next join the roster of Joensuun Kiekko-Pojat. Selänne’s contract includes a two-week trial period.
The 25-year-old Selänne last played in Finland during the 2023-24 season, when he played 23 regular season games in Mestis with Kajaanin Hokki, achieving 2+2=4 points. Last season, the winger scored 15+9=24 points in 32 games in Sweden.
