Strongly Finnish-represented Genève-Servette HC was sent on summer vacation in Switzerland. HC Fribourg-Gottéron defeated Servette in the fifth semifinal match with a score of 6-2 and advanced to the NL finals with a match score of 4-1.

This season, Finnish players Jesse Puljujärvi, Sakari Manninen, Markus Granlund, and Vili Saarijärvi played for Servette. Additionally, the team’s head coach was Ville Peltonen and the assistant coaches were Pekka Kangasalusta and Samuel Tilkanen.

In the decisive match, Granlund scored once with Puljujärvi registering an assist. Granlund won the entire regular season scoring leaderboard this season, while Puljujärvi was third and Manninen sixth.

In the other semifinal series in Switzerland, HC Davos defeated ZSC Lions with a match score of 4-1. Thus, from ZSC Lions, Mikko Lehtonen and Juho Lammikko saw their season in club games come to an end.

A total of three Finns play in the final series teams. Roope Taponen represents Davos, while Juuso Arola and Henrik Borgström play for Fribourg.
