Finnish goalie Kasimir Kaskisuo, 32, is currently looking for a job. He does not have a contract with any team.

Kaskisuo played two games last season in the ECHL with the Norfolk Admirals and ten games with the Bloomington Bison. Currently, he is waiting at home in Minnesota for a suitable playing opportunity to arise.

– Hopefully, some offers will come soon. Basically, anything would do as long as I get to play, Kaskisuo says to Ilta-Sanomat.

Kaskisuo has spent ten seasons in North America. He has also played two NHL games in his career. Now Kaskisuo says he is aiming to return to European rinks.

– It might be that North America has been seen now. Especially after last season’s ECHL trials.

– I want to get back to playing. However, my primary goal is to get to Europe.

Kaskisuo played two seasons in Sweden between his years in North America. He represented Leksands IF during the 2021-23 seasons.

In the AHL, Kaskisuo has played 108 regular season games and 22 playoff games.
