American defender Jordan Oesterle, 34, known from the NHL, is retiring from professional hockey.
Oesterle played one NHL game last season with the Nashville Predators. Most of his season was spent in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals, where he recorded 46 points in 69 games (14+32).
During his NHL career, Oesterle played a total of 409 regular season games (23+73=96) and nine playoff games (1+3). In addition to Nashville, he represented the Edmonton Oilers, Chicago Blackhawks, Arizona Coyotes, Detroit Red Wings, Calgary Flames, and Boston Bruins. Undrafted, Oesterle played in the NHL for a total of 12 different seasons.
Oesterle won a World Championship bronze medal with Team USA in 2018.
