The Mestis club Kiekko-Vantaa has signed a comprehensive agreement for the upcoming season with forward Leevi Lemberg.

Lemberg, 27, will begin his seventh consecutive Mestis season. In previous years, he has represented Kiekko-Espoo, TUTO Hockey, Jokers, and Ketterä.

Lemberg played at a high level for two seasons with the Jokers. In the 2023-24 season, he recorded 39 points in 46 games with 23+16, and in the 2024-25 season, he finished with 23 points in 38 games with 15+8.

Last season, Lemberg’s role was reduced with the Jokers. He played only ten games with 2+1 points before his contract was terminated in November. In January, Lemberg moved to Ketterä for the remainder of the season, where he played 20 regular season games with 6+5=11 points and 15 playoff games with 3+3.

Lemberg won the Mestis championship with the Jokers in the spring of 2025. Last spring, he achieved silver with Ketterä.

– Great feeling! We thought for a long time during the summer about where would be the best place to play, and Vantaa was chosen, which is good. The goal is to stay healthy throughout the season and play the best season of my career, Lemberg commented in Kiekko-Vantaa’s announcement.
