The Järvenpää Haukat, playing in the Suomi series, has signed a contract with forward Leevi Selänne.
Selänne, 25, joined the team in November on a tryout contract, which ultimately led to a deal for the entire remainder of the season.
The son of hockey legend Teemu Selänne has performed strongly in the Suomi series, as he has accumulated 4+3=7 points in six games.
In the previous season, Selänne played in Sweden at the fourth highest level with Ockelbo HC, and in the 2023–24 season, he represented Kajaanin Hokki in the Mestis.
