MILANO.

Canada will be seen in the Olympic semifinals.

The team marched confidently to the group victory. The Czech Republic fell 5-0, Switzerland 5-1, and France 10-2.

There are some minor concerns within the team. Winnipeg Jets defender Josh Morrissey was injured against Switzerland and did not play in the match against France.

Canada’s head coach Jon Cooper provided an update on Morrissey’s situation after the France game.

– He will be participating in practice on Tuesday, Cooper said.

At the same time, Cooper revealed that Brad Marchand has been sidelined due to injury. Earlier, Cooper said that Marchand would play against France, but ultimately the Florida Panthers player sat in the stands.

– He will play in the semifinals. We want everyone to be in full condition. He didn’t have to play in this game, Cooper said.

Cooper was asked if Marchand has any injury.

– He did, but he doesn’t anymore.
