MILANO.
The situation of the Swedish team looks worrying just before the start of the Olympic ice hockey tournament.
The team’s superstar William Nylander has suffered from injuries throughout the season. He returned to action just over a week ago, but now he was not seen in Sweden’s practice.
Nylander’s situation was commented on by the Swedish team after the practice:
– I haven’t spoken to him today. We all hope that he can play because he is a really important player for us.
Sweden will play its first match against Italy on Wednesday at 22:10 Finnish time. Based on previous practices, a spot was prepared for Nylander in the team’s top line.
