Another strange accident: Russian NHL monster injured in a terrible way at home

St. Louis Blues’ Russian forward Aleksei Toropshenko is sidelined for an unusual reason.
The Blues’ president and GM Doug Armstrong announced on Monday that Toropshenko had an accident at home, resulting in serious burns to his legs. Toropshenko is expected to take weeks off from games.
No further details were provided from the Blues’ camp regarding the accident involving the 197-centimeter tall forward giant.
This season in the NHL has seen some rather strange injuries. Earlier this fall, New Jersey Devils superstar Jack Hughes had his hand operated on due to an accident that occurred during a team dinner. Also, Florida Panthers’ Finnish forward Eetu Luostarinen is currently sidelined due to a burn from grilling.
