Urheilucast’s claim: Aleksi Heponiemi is in the sights of the league’s top club – negotiations have begun!

Tappara is trying to strengthen its offense with Aleksi Heponiemi, says Urheilucast. The podcast host Esko Seppänen mentions that the Tampere club is exploring the possibility of acquiring the 27-year-old forward for the next season.
Heponiemi has a valid contract with the Swedish HV71 for the next season. According to Urheilucast, Tappara has contacted HV71 and inquired about the player’s potential transfer fee.
The Ilves product has played 28 games in the current SHL season, with stats of 6+12=18 points. He has missed 17 games due to injuries.
The need for a forward like Heponiemi arose when the Swiss Ajoie announced that they had made a contract with Jonatan Tanus.
