Pekka Jormakka is moving abroad from the Liiga for the next season. The 35-year-old forward has signed a contract with a team playing in the top league of Slovakia.

Jormakka revealed his transfer to Petteri Rimpinen, who was present on Wednesday in the Atleetin Poppariketju program.

– Hey “Showtime”. It seems your workouts are working, because apparently they are following our podcast all the way from Slovakia. It looks like I might be heading there soon, Jormakka said in the video.

Previously, Jormakka has played abroad in the KHL and the German DEL league. Thus, the top league in Slovakia will be his third foreign league.

Last season was spent with JYP. Jormakka appeared in 51 regular season games and scored 25 points in them.
