Names in the paper – here is the end-of-season follow-up by Niclas Westerholm
Finnish player Niclas Westerholm, 28, will continue his games in Sweden until the end of this season.
Södertälje SK, playing in Allsvenskan, announces that they have made a comprehensive agreement with Westerholm until the end of the season. Westerholm joined the team in December on a one-month contract, which has now been extended for the remainder of the season.
So far, Westerholm has played six games for Södertälje with a save percentage of 91.1.
This season, Westerholm has also represented two different teams in the Czech Republic on short-term contracts. He played three games for BK Mlada Boleslav with a save percentage of 89.0 and nine games for HC Motor Ceske Budejovice with a save percentage of 90.3.
Before this season, Westerholm played several seasons in the Liiga. He represented SaiPa and Kärpät, playing a total of 240 regular season games and six playoff games. Westerholm has also represented the Lions in two EHT games.
