Jukka Jalonen’s son got the head coach position!

The success coach of the Lions Jukka Jalonen‘s son Jesper Jalonen has been appointed as the head coach of the Japanese Nikko Icebucks. The team plays in the East Asia ALIH league.
Jalonen, 32, has served as an assistant coach for the Nikko Icebucks for the past two seasons. Last season, the team finished third in the regular season and ultimately fell in the semifinals.
The ALIH league consists of six teams. Five of them are Japanese and one is South Korean.
In his previous coaching career, Jalonen has also worked in Finland. He has served as an assistant coach for Hermes in Mestis and as a head coach in the Suomi series.
