Here is the CHL final pair – several Finns are aiming for the championship
The finalists of the CHL are known. In the single-match final, the Swedish top teams Frölunda HC and Luleå HF will face each other. The final will be played on March 3 at Frölunda’s home arena.
Frölunda played a 2-2 draw in the second semifinal match against Brynäs IF and won the tie with an aggregate score of 4-2. Luleå, on the other hand, defeated the Swiss team EV Zug 3-2 and advanced to the final with an aggregate score of 6-4.
Several Finnish players are included in the CHL final teams. Frölunda features Jere Innala and Arttu Ruotsalainen. Additionally, Max Westergård is a contracted player for the team, but he has been loaned to Björklöven for the remainder of the season. The Luleå team includes Oskari Laaksonen, Otto Leskinen, Eetu Koivistoinen, Anton Levtchi, Heikki Liedes, and Markus Nurmi.
Frölunda has previously won the CHL championship four times. Luleå has won the league once.
