Florida Panthers etched their name in NHL history last night. The team crushed the Seattle Kraken with a score of 8–3 and extended their remarkable streak of hat tricks.

The main stars of Florida’s goal fest were Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Bennett, both of whom scored three goals each. Verhaeghe’s goals came consecutively, marking what is known as a natural hat trick.

The Panthers had also achieved this in their previous two games. In both instances, the three consecutive goals were scored by Brady Tkachuk.

Verhaeghe’s success propelled Florida to a unique record that no NHL team had previously reached. The Panthers have now scored a natural hat trick in three consecutive games.

In the high-scoring battle, Finnish players also made their mark. Florida’s Niko Mikkola finished with 1+1 points, and Seattle’s Kaapo Kakko collected two assists.
