Aatu Räty had an amazing night in the NHL! Made the Swedish goalie a laughing stock
The Vancouver Canucks secured a 4-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild last night. The star of the game was Aatu Räty, who recorded 2 goals and 1 assist.
Räty started the scoring late in the second period. He broke away on a two-on-one and decided to shoot himself. His powerful wrist shot found the top corner of the net.
At the beginning of the third period, Räty scored again as Minnesota’s goalie Jesper Wallstedt was playing the puck behind his net and hesitated with his pass. At that moment, Räty seized the opportunity, stole the puck from the Swedish player’s stick, and flipped it into the net.
Räty has started the season strong. In his first 26 games, the Finnish forward has tallied 3 goals and 8 assists for a total of 11 points.
