The medal of Jesse Puljujärvi, who won the World Championship gold with the Lions, has gone missing, reports Urheilucast.

– The gold medal of Finland’s very own ‘Pulju’, Jesse Puljujärvi, has reportedly gone missing according to Urheilucast, host Esko Seppänen said during the broadcast.

According to Urheilucast, the medal is suspected to have gone missing in the capital region.

Seppänen addressed the situation colorfully and even made a humorous “search request” for its possible location.

– How is it that it happened to Pulju of all people? I would like to personally request official assistance from the capital region. Please check all karaoke bars and clean water sources to start with,” Seppänen said during the broadcast.

– Currently, Pulju’s medal is being searched for behind the scenes with cats and dogs. It’s good that even the Jaffa dog is not left out of the search for its owner’s unique medal. But yes, right now the whole of Stadin yö is looking for Jesse Puljujärvi’s medal.

Puljujärvi was one of the top names for the Lions in the World Championship tournament. He scored 4+5 points in ten games during the tournament. After the championship, the team received a warm welcome at the public celebration held in Helsinki.
