The Finnish Ice Hockey Association announces that defender Rasmus Rissanen and forward Juho Lammikko will have to leave the ongoing Czech EHT tournament due to injuries. Both players’ World Championship preparations are over, and they will not be available for the World Championships in the spring.

Rissanen was injured in the Denmark match played in Kouvola last week and has not recovered to playing condition as expected. Lammikko injured himself in yesterday’s Czech match.

Both Rissanen and Lammikko participated in the World Championships last year. Rissanen has played in two World Championships during his career, while Lammikko has played in four, winning two world championships.

The Lions continue the Czech EHT tournament on Saturday, facing Switzerland at 1:00 PM.
